Dr. Susan Simmons-Stevenson
Founders & CHRO
Dr. Susan Simmons-Stevenson is an accomplished Human Resources Executive and Workforce Strategist with more than 15 years of experience in HR leadership, staffing, and organizational development. As Founder and Chief Workforce Strategist of Lifecycle Network, she helps employers build strong teams, strengthen operations, and create people-centered workforce systems that drive long-term success.

Dr. Simmons-Stevenson is known for her people-first leadership style, strategic clarity, and ability to bridge employers, educators, and communities to solve complex workforce challenges. Her career includes distinguished HR leadership roles across healthcare, logistics, finance, government, and technology—where she built high-performing teams and delivered measurable HR, compliance, and staffing outcomes.
Affectionally as “The Queen of Networking,” Dr. Simmons-Stevenson is known for her ability to connect employers, educators, and community stakeholders to build innovative workforce pathways. She has held HR leadership roles across healthcare, logistics, finance, government, and technology, earning a reputation for solving complex talent challenges with clarity, compassion, and strategic insight.

She serves on the Atlanta Airport Board as the Community Engagement Chair, is a Founding 100 Member of the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE), serves on the Kettering Executive Network Women’s Leadership Team, and is an active Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care.

Dr. Simmons-Stevenson is also the Founder of Americans Thrive, a nonprofit workforce development organization that expands career access for underserved communities. Together, Lifecycle Network and Americans Thrive create an integrated workforce ecosystem supporting both employers and job seekers.

She holds a BBA, MBA, and a Master of Human Resource Management and enjoys music, travel, and spending time with her family.
